  • Navigation patterns (forward/back, channel filters)
  • Subtitle and language preferences used during viewing
  • Share actions

This data is linked to your account via an anonymous internal identifier — never your email or real name.

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authentication session and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Feed personalization: Activity data trains your personal content algorithm to show clips most relevant to your interests.
  • Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us improve content curation.
  • Account management: Email is used for login, password resets, and critical service communications.
  • Payment processing: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full payment details.

3. Activity Tracking Opt-Out

You can disable activity tracking at any time in your Account Settings → Privacy & Data.

When you opt out:

  • All your behavioral data (viewing history, event logs) is permanently deleted
  • Your feed reverts to the default content order (non-personalized)
  • No new activity data is collected

If you choose to opt back in later, data collection restarts from scratch. Your personalization algorithm rebuilds over time as you use the Service.

Audit exception: Certain records required for legal and financial auditing (account creation date, subscription events) are retained regardless of your tracking preference.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion (with a 30-day grace period for recovery).
  • Activity data: Retained until you opt out or delete your account, whichever comes first.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years).
  • Audit logs: Retained for up to 3 years for legal compliance.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (Right to be Forgotten — Article 17 GDPR)

  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • YouTube: Video content embedding (subject to YouTube's Terms of Service)

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

The Service is not directed at individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
